Work with Orion

Connect your own channels

Understand channel setup, account ownership and the difference between saved details and authorization.

Start in your Connections page

Open Connections to see the methods enabled for your account. Choose the provider and follow the sign-in or account-linking flow shown there. Use your own provider account.

A saved email address, profile link or sender identity is not proof that Orion can access that account. Look for the provider’s actual connection state and available capabilities.

Your account remains yours

Personal channel credentials and private messages belong to the person who connected the account. Team membership or an administrator role does not grant permission to read another person’s inbox or act as them.

When switching or disconnecting an account, review the app’s warning about existing work. Reconnect deliberately rather than borrowing a teammate’s session or credentials.

Connection is not delivery

Gmail and Google Calendar are the first channel rollout. LinkedIn’s sending adapter is off. Provider authorization, drafting and execution are separate capabilities. A working sign-in does not prove that sending, inbox sync, recruiting, calendar actions or every product feature is available.

Use the capability status displayed for the exact connection. Some channels or actions may require additional provider access, a supported account type, or an assisted manual step.
